Did you know that God loves to bless and protect His children? Today’s verse is a special blessing from the Bible, where God promises to care for us and keep us safe. Just like a parent wraps their arms around you to keep you warm and safe, God watches over you every single day.
When the Bible says “The LORD bless you,” it means God gives you good things—like His love, joy, and peace. And when it says “keep you,” it means God protects you, like a shepherd who guards his sheep.
Lesson: God is Our Protector
No matter where you are or what you’re doing, God is always with you. He keeps you safe, guides you, and blesses you with His love. Isn’t it wonderful to know that the Creator of the universe is looking out for you?
Activity: Blessing Circle 💖
- Gather with your family and take turns saying a blessing for each other, like, “May God bless you and keep you today.”
- Draw a picture of God’s hands protecting you, and write today’s verse under it.
Prayer:
Dear God, thank You for blessing me with Your love and care. Thank You for keeping me safe every day. Help me remember that You are always with me, protecting and guiding me. Amen.
