Verse: “Then one of the elders said to me, ‘Do not weep! See, the Lion of the tribe of Judah, the Root of David, has triumphed. He is able to open the scroll and its seven seals.'” – Revelation 5:5
Hi Stars! 🌟
Have you ever seen someone win a big prize, like a trophy or a medal? In today’s verse, we learn that Jesus is the greatest winner of all! He is called the Lion of the tribe of Judah because He is strong, powerful, and victorious. Jesus has triumphed over sin and death, and He is the only one worthy to open the scroll, which holds God’s special plan.
This verse reminds us that Jesus is our Savior and King. We can praise Him because He has won the victory for us, and He is in control of everything.
Lesson: Worship the Victorious King
Jesus is strong like a lion and loving like a shepherd. He gave His life for us and now reigns as King. We can worship Him with joy and trust in His power to guide us and protect us.
Activity: Crown of Praise 👑
- Draw a crown and write “Jesus is King” on it. Inside the crown, write words like “Powerful,” “Loving,” and “Victorious” to describe Jesus.
- Sing a song of praise or thank Jesus for being your Savior and King.
Prayer:
Dear Jesus, thank You for being the Lion of Judah and my victorious King. Help me to trust You and praise You every day for all You have done. Amen.
