Have you ever had to wait for your turn to play a game or be kind to someone who wasn’t nice to you? It’s not always easy, but today’s verse reminds us that God wants us to be humble, gentle, patient, and loving toward others.
When we are humble, we don’t think we are better than others. When we are gentle, we treat people kindly. When we are patient, we don’t get angry quickly. And when we love others, we show them God’s love!
Lesson: Love Others Like Jesus
Jesus is the best example of being humble, gentle, and patient. He always treated others with kindness, even when they didn’t deserve it. When we follow Jesus, we should try to do the same in our daily lives!
Activity: Love in Action 💖
- Think of one way you can be patient or kind today, like waiting your turn or helping a friend.
- Draw a picture of a heart and write words inside that describe how you can show love to others, like “gentle,” “kind,” and “patient.”
Prayer:
Dear God, help me to be humble, gentle, and patient with others. Teach me to love people the way You love me, even when it’s hard. Thank You for showing me how to be kind and caring. Amen.
