Have you ever cheered for someone you love, like a friend in a game or your sibling doing something amazing? In today’s verse, Jesus prays to God, asking Him to glorify His name. That means showing how great and awesome God is. God’s voice from heaven answered, saying He has already done it and will keep doing it!
This reminds us that everything we do can bring glory to God. When we love, help, and follow Him, we’re like cheerleaders showing the world how amazing God is.
Lesson: Live to Glorify God
Jesus always did things that glorified God, and we can too! Whether it’s being kind, saying thank you, or helping others, our actions can show people how great God is.
Activity: Shine for God 💡
- Draw a picture of a shining light and write, “Glorify God’s Name” on it. Around the light, write ways you can honor God, like “help a friend” or “pray for others.”
- Talk with your family about one thing you can do today to bring glory to God.
Prayer:
Dear God, thank You for showing us Your greatness. Help me to live in a way that glorifies Your name and shows others how wonderful You are. Thank You for loving me and guiding me every day. Amen.
