Have you ever gotten super exciting news, like a surprise party or a special trip? Imagine how the shepherds felt when an angel appeared to them with the best news ever—Jesus, the Savior, had been born!
The angel told the shepherds not to be afraid because the news of Jesus would bring great joy to everyone. Jesus came to bring hope, peace, and love to the whole world. And that’s a reason to celebrate every day!
Lesson: Share the Good News
Just like the angel shared the good news with the shepherds, we can share the joy of Jesus with others. When we tell people about His love, kindness, and salvation, we spread the same great joy that the angel spoke about.
Activity: Joyful News 🎉
- Draw a picture of the shepherds hearing the angel’s message. Write “Good News of Great Joy” on it.
- Think of one person you can share Jesus’ love with today—maybe by helping them, praying for them, or telling them about God’s love.
Prayer:
Dear God, thank You for sending Jesus as the best gift ever. Help me to share the good news of His love and joy with everyone around me. Thank You for the hope and peace Jesus brings. Amen.
