Verse: “But I tell you, love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you.” – Matthew 5:44
Hi Stars! 🌟
Have you ever had someone be mean to you or say something unkind? It’s easy to want to be mean back, but Jesus teaches us something different—He tells us to love our enemies and pray for them!
That may seem hard to do, but Jesus showed us how. Even when people were unkind to Him, He still loved them and prayed for them. When we choose love instead of anger, we shine God’s light and show others what His love looks like.
Lesson: Love Changes Everything
Loving our enemies doesn’t mean we have to be best friends with them, but it does mean we treat them with kindness, pray for them, and forgive them, just as Jesus forgives us.
Activity: Love in Action ❤️
- Think of someone who has been unkind to you. Instead of being upset, pray for them and ask God to help you show kindness.
- Draw a heart and write ways you can love others, even when it’s hard, like “forgive,” “be kind,” or “pray for them.”
Prayer:
Dear Jesus, thank You for loving me, even when I make mistakes. Help me to love others, even when they are unkind to me. Teach me to forgive and to pray for those who hurt me. Amen.
Remember, Stars, when you choose love instead of anger, you are following Jesus’ example. Shine brightly with His love today! 🌟💖✨
