Verse: “I am the vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. If you do not remain in me, you are like a branch that is thrown away and withers; such branches are picked up, thrown into the fire, and burned.” – John 15:5-6
Hi Stars! 🌟
Have you ever seen a tree with strong, healthy branches full of fruit or leaves? Those branches stay healthy because they’re connected to the tree. Jesus tells us in today’s verse that He is like a vine, and we are the branches. When we stay close to Him, we grow strong and bear “fruit” like love, kindness, and joy.
But if a branch isn’t connected to the tree, it can’t grow or bear fruit. That’s why it’s so important to stay connected to Jesus through prayer, reading the Bible, and following His ways.
Lesson: Stay Close to Jesus
Just like a branch needs the vine to grow, we need Jesus to guide us and help us live a life full of good things. When we stay close to Him, we can share His love with others and live the way He wants us to.
Activity: Fruit of the Vine 🍇
- Draw a vine with branches and fruit hanging from it. On each fruit, write something that shows you’re staying close to Jesus, like “prayer,” “kindness,” or “forgiveness.”
- Talk with your family about ways you can stay connected to Jesus this week.
Prayer:
Dear Jesus, thank You for being the vine that gives me life and strength. Help me to stay close to You so I can grow and share Your love with others. Thank You for helping me bear good fruit. Amen.
Remember, Stars, when you stay connected to Jesus, you grow strong and shine His love to the world. Let’s stay close to Him every day! 🌟🍇❤️
